How to Submit an Article

This journal strongly encourages guest writers, so send in your submissions to the email address below to get your work published. Your piece must be related to British politics. Analysis of international affairs is certainly encouraged, for example, but the UK's role or how it is impacted must be considered. Send in your articles so our editors can review them. For details on what the FPW prioritises, see our 'About Us' section. This will give your work a greater chance of being accepted and published.

Author Guidelines

Submissions need not just be articles. Any form of political analysis is welcome, including data visualisations, research pieces, book or journal reviews, and opinion pieces.

We have no requirements regarding the length of submissions. As you may have seen, we have both a deep-dive section for pieces longer than 5 minutes and a section for shorter pieces.

We only accept submissions from students, as this journal aspires to be a voice for UK students in British politics.

All submissions must be respectful and constructive, in line with FPW's understanding of the need for mature debate in politics.

Please provide in-text citations so that we are able to hyperlink your work to the cited material.
